NatureTrails Cabins offer vacationers an opportunity to enjoy new modern cabins in a peaceful wooded site with trails around ponds and through the woods with old rock walls and clearing piles of rocks that were made when pastures were cleared over 150 years ago when this area was a farming and seafaring community with little land travel, there are gardens of flowers and vegetables to view as well as trout in two of the ponds. There are deer, moose, eagles, and ospreys in the area. Your hosts are the descendants of some of the original settlers of the area.
We are 5 minutes from Winter Harbor which is a small fishing village with ferry service to Bar Harbor only a few minutes away by water. |
